Active Isolated Stretching, one muscle at a time.

Performing an Active Isolated Stretch of no longer than two seconds allows the target muscles to optimally lengthen without triggering the protective stretch reflex. Assisted stretching for functional flexibility and injury prevention.

In AIS sessions, brief repetitions replace a single long hold. The session is adjusted to your mobility goals and the areas that feel stiff or restricted.

Flexibility for daily movement

Clients choose assisted stretching for lower back tightness, stiffness, sports-related mobility concerns, and maintaining comfortable movement. You do not need to be an athlete to discuss AIS with Maggie.

Tell her about current injuries, painful movements, and any advice you have received from a healthcare professional. Stretching should not mean forcing a joint or pushing through sharp pain.

Your session
